Privacy Policy

What we collect

This site collects minimal data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (which pages are visited, how long, what country visitors come from). No personal data is sold or shared with anyone.

The only personal data we collect beyond analytics is what you voluntarily submit through the Counterexample Challenge form: your challenge text and, optionally, your email address. Both are sent to us via Resend (our email delivery service) and stored only in our email inbox.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-S8XXM5ZX97) to collect anonymous usage data: pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location (country level). Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

If you are visiting from the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, analytics are NOT loaded until you explicitly consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no Google Analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. Visitors from outside these regions receive analytics by default.

Cookies

This site uses the following cookies:

• geo-country — Your country code (from Cloudflare), used to determine whether to show the cookie consent banner. Expires after 1 day.
• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — Set only if you consent (EU) or automatically (non-EU). Used for anonymous usage analytics. Governed by Google's privacy policy.

Your consent preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (not as a cookie) under the key "cookie-consent".

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, pages visited) as part of their infrastructure. This data is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not access or use Cloudflare's server logs.

Bot protection

The Counterexample Challenge form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated spam submissions. Turnstile does not use cookies or track users across sites. It is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since the only data we may have is an email address you voluntarily submitted, you can request deletion by emailing optimizationprinciple@gmail.com.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
